🌿🌍 We're thrilled to share amazing milestones from our ongoing mangrove restoration and conservation project in Mozambique!

Over the past 3️ years, the MozambES project, together with incredible local communities, has successfully replanted 15 areas covering 18 hectares of vital mangrove forests! Despite the challenges of remote and hard-to-reach locations, our dedicated teams have worked tirelessly to ensure the project's success.

Why are mangroves so important?

  • 🌊 Protect coastlines from erosion and storms

  • 🐟 Support local fisheries by providing habitats for marine life

  • 💚 Sequester carbon, helping fight climate change

To sustain these efforts, we've established 10 mangrove nurseries nurturing approximately 6,000 plants! Working closely with community savings and credit groups, we provide incentives and training to help monitor and preserve these restored areas.

But we're not stopping here! We're committed to securing additional funding to expand our impact and ensure the project's long-term sustainability. With continued support, we aim to amplify the positive effects on both the environment and the economic well-being of the communities involved.
